Saundersfoot has always had a strong production line of junior players going through the ranks from beginners right through to junior internationals.When you look back over the years the likes of Berwyn Dennis, Steve Poole both under 25 internationals. Simon Evans who played for the Welsh indoor team and also won a number of open tournaments including the Gold Cup & Silver Bowl in the Tenby. Not to be out done by the girls with Barbara Pendlebury, Jayne Dickenson, Jo Lewis all repersenting Wales at Under 25 level, and last but not least Sarah Mansbridge (sister of Simon) who went on to play for the Senior Ladies Welsh team and also represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpa. There also a number of county players David Poole, Myrddin Dennis, Mark Woods, Mark Poole, Oliver Dugmore, Phil Morris, Paul Morris,Matthew Dick but to name a few, and the latest in the long line of juniors to progress to higher standards is young Joe Dennis and Gemma Amos both representing Wales and Junior level.
